Area of Makadi Heights
Makadi Heights is located in Hurghada, a popular resort town on Egypt’s Red Sea Coast, known for its stunning coral reefs and blue waters ideal for windsurfing. Hurghada, easily accessible to the beautiful Giftun Islands and the Eastern Arabian Desert, has seen significant growth over the past decade. Despite sometimes feeling crowded with tourists, it offers some of the best diving and snorkeling spots in the world, making it a convenient beach getaway for Europeans. Visitors can explore El Dahar, the old quarter, on foot or by taxi.
Hurghada City, the capital of the Red Sea Governorate, is a major global destination for scuba diving. Located 500 miles southeast of Cairo on the western bank of the Red Sea, it stretches about 36 km (22 mi) along the shoreline before ending abruptly in the desert. Hurghada is bordered by Ras Gareb to the north, Safaga to the south, the Red Sea to the east, and the Governorates of Sohag and Assyut to the west. The city blends ancient and modern elements and is home to some of the best hotel chains on Villages Road and in surrounding tourist areas like El-Gouna to the south and Sahel Hasheesh to the north. Hurghada International Airport serves the city with direct flights to numerous European destinations.
